About Alex Burnett

Alex Burnett is an alumnus of the University of Florida, Gainesville, where he obtained his BS in biology. As a student, he made the dean’s list frequently, including in the fall of 2014, spring of 2015, spring of 2016, and spring of 2017. After earning his degree, he began his role at Buffalo Wild Wings as a waiter before his promotion to shift manager after a few months. As shift manager, Alex Burnett acted as team leader and oversaw the organization’s daily operations. He coordinated shifts, managed inventories, and enforced safety and sanitation protocols. Mr. Burnett served in this role for three years.

Aside from his work at Buffalo Wild Wings, Mr. Burnett has also worked as a medical scribe for ScribeAmerica. There he performed various administrative tasks and assisted healthcare providers during their visits. He got a promotion offer to chief scribe, which he had to decline due to other commitments. Mr. Burnett is a University of Florida College of Medicine student obtaining a doctor of medicine (MD).

Alex Burnett is a UFCOM Sports Medicine Interest Group member and is a student member of the American Medical Association. In his free time, he enjoys golf, snowboarding, and baseball.
